Turkey Bowl 2011

Turkey Bowl 2011 will be held on Saturday, 3 of December at the Benkovski stadium.
The Misfits we will meet the Sofia Bears for a friendly game of touch rugby and flag football.
We will have a BBQ and lots of beers around the field, supporters are welcome as always!

From now on our game of rugby in the park will be every Tuesday.

Place and starting time remain the same – 7 pm. at the the Ariana lake (near Eagle’s Bridge – click for a map of the location).

Занапред за ръгби в парка ще се събираме всеки вторник.

Часът и мястото си остават същите – 19:00 среща на езерото Ариана (до Орлов мост – цъкни за карта на точното място).

Yantra Gabrovo is traveling to Sofia for a game this Saturday Dec. 11th. Kick off is set for 13:30 with conditions set for a little mud and cool enough to keep everyone running. It should prove to be an entertaining game as the Gabrovo team always plays a good game of Rugby. The Misfits are eager to end the year with a win as well, building on the successes of the last couple of games. Stay tuned for highlights and enjoy the following photos from the last time these two teams played in the great setting of the Yantra Gabrovo home field.

The high temperatures and the blazing sun couldn’t stop the Misfits last Saturday and we had a very good turnout – more than 18 players at the field.

In the second game from the Tri-Nations the All Blacks repeated their great play from last week and won again, scoring 4 tries for the final score 31:17 vs. South Africa.

From next Saturday, 24.07, we start the touch rugby from 10 am. Also Kids rugby from 10.30 am. The Australia vs. South Africa game will start at 1 pm.

Misfits in Milan, June 2010

Високите температури и силното слънце не можаха да спрат Мисфитс и тази събота и се появиха доста хора – имаше повече от 18 играча на терена.

В поредния мач от Трите Нации All Blacks повториха добрата си игра от предната седмица и отново спечелиха, отбелязвайки 4 есета за крайното 31:17 срещу Южна Африка.

От следващата събота, 24.07, започваме да играем тъч-ръгби от 10:00 часа. Също така ще има и детско ръгби от 10:30. Мачът между Австралия и Южна Африка започва в 13:00 ч.

Because of the Tri Nations game – All Blacks vs. South Africa we postpone tomorrow’s practice for 1 pm.

See you at JJ.Murphy’s 10.30 am to watch the game or 1 pm at the field for some touch rugby!

The Bus is booked for the trip to Gabrovo this Saturday. We are staying overnight and returning to Sofia on Sunday.
We will meet at Macedonia Square at 09:30.
Bring your membership fee and 25 BGL for Bus.
