Време е за една малко по-различна игра! На 26ти ноември, събота, от 13:00 ч. на стадиона в кв. Бенковски, точно преди тазгодишния ни Pub Crawl, ще се съберем да поиграем Ръгби 15, но с едно условие! Условието е, че играчите трябва да се облекат с по-необичайни дрехи по време на мача – като типични джентълмени, с костюм, сако, риза, панталон, фрак и тн. или като горди дами, с полички, роклички, корсети, жартиери и тн. Така че преровете скрина си (или този на жена си) и да си спретнем един много забавен ден!

It’s time for one unusual game of rugby! On November 26, Saturday at 13:00h at Benkovski stadium, just  before our annual Pub Crawl, will gather to play Rugby 15, but with one condition! The condition is that players must be dresses with unusual clothes during the game – as typical gentlemen with a suit jacket, shirt, pants, tails and so on. or proud ladies with skirts, dresses, corsets, suspenders and so on. So explore your dresser (or your wife’s ) and let’s have a very funny day!

The kids rugby started again with a good turnout of little ones to enjoy running around and some coordination and ball handling skills. They all seemed to enjoy the games and running in the fresh air with a great view of the mountains on both sides of the city. A great location for a Saturday run around.

Then it was time to get the players outfitted for the game against the visiting team. The Referee(Rueben Mills) for the game did a great job keeping the pace of the game going. Also a big Thank You to Harry who came out early and helped with the marking of the field prior to the game.

It was a great turnout of Misfits for the game with 29 players that all enjoyed some time on the field. It was great to see the mix of players on the field with some new and old experienced Misfits playing together again. There was also a good turnout of supporters enjoying the game and visiting as well. Two players were contributing factors to the Leigh Layabouts team win. Konstantin Dimitrov and Stefan Popov had the enjoyment of being on the plus side of the field with the final score being 22-20 for the Layabouts. It was a full field game with almost everybody having the chance to get their hands on the ball and do some running. The Misfits had a range of players from age 15 to 40+ on the field and several countries represented. The mix of people on the Misfits team is a great thing to see with the game of rugby bringing them all together. The experienced players supporting the younger enthusiastic players to show the way to play the game and be a part of the team.

At least some of the time….. note to rookies… don’t do everything the veterans do. :)

The game will be played on Saturday at our new field – the Benkovski stadium. Kick off 12:30 pm. Make sure you come at least an hour before the game if you plan to play. If you need a ride to the stadium – there will be a meeting at 11:00 at the Nevski parking lot. Google maps for directions to the Benkovski stadium.

Also there will be a meeting with the Leigh Layabouts on Friday, 8 pm at J.J.Murphy’s.

Време е за втория ни голям мач тази година!

Мачът ще се играе в събота на новия ни терен – стадионът в Бенковски. Начало – 12:30 часа. Всеки който смята да вземе участие трябва да дойде поне час преди мача. Ако някой има нужда от превоз – отново ще имаме среща в 11:00 часа на паркинга зад Ал. Невски (ул. Оборище). Google карта с указания къде се намира стадионът в Бенковски.

Не забравяйте и за срещата с Leigh Layabouts в петък, 20 часа в J.J.Murphy’s.

Последната ни игра на тъч-ръгби на терените на НСА ще се проведе тази събота, 2-ри април от 12:30 часа. Ще проведем обичайна тренировка, след която ще има барбекю и (доста) бира с които да кажем довиждане на мястото, където играехме досега. От следващата събота се местим на нов терен, като подробности къде и как се стига ще бъдат обявени следващата седмица.

Now three weeks old, Toma is enjoying the good things in life like warm milk, sound sleep (more or less) and lots of hugs.

На 11.02.2011 г. в 10:30 сутринта Деси и Влади отново станаха родители!

Вече на три седмици, Тома се радва на хубавите неща в живота като топло мляко, спокоен сън (през преобладаващата част от времето) и много гушкане.

Today it is the first game from this year’s edition of the Six Nations Tournament. Of couse, all the games will be shown live on big screen in “JJ.Murphy’s“. The games during this weekend will be:

Отново е време за ръгби! Днес започват мачовете от тазгодишното издание на Турнира на Шестте нации. Разбира се, всички мачове ще се излъчат на живо на големия екран в “JJ.Murphy’s“. Елате да гледаме мачовете на по бира в компанията на Мисфитс и за да подкрепим Фондацията Сийдър – те ще спонсорират специална томбола след всеки мач.
